Thank You God For My Husband

If I had one wish, I would wish that I could find the words that would appropriately, sufficiently, and adequately express how great God is. I am at a loss for words when it comes to acknowledging His goodness. I can't even come close to describing His awesome, giving nature. Therefore, I will simply say Thank you God. Thank you God for all of the good and precious gifts you've given me; especially the gift of the love of my life, my husband. I can't thank you enough for this awesome man, whom I don't even deserve. He is so good to me and for me. He provides an environment for me where I can feel loved, comfortable, safe and and protected. He provides an environment for me where I can grow and become the person You want me to be. Lord, I thank you for this man and I pray that Your protection and Your love will always be the center of our marriage.

Tie a Knot and Hold On

On those days when you feel like you're at the end of your rope, just tie a knot and hold on. I don't know where, but I've heard that before, and you probably have too. These encouraging words are for you, and for a dear friend of mine who seems to think she's having difficulty getting in line with life. Lining up with life isn't always easy. It takes practice. It takes fasting and prayer and deep meditation to endure as you find that path God has created for you. I like to tell people, "This too shall pass." But I know that when the struggle has gone on for so long, and there doesn't seem to be an end to it, you'll find yourself asking, when will this pass?

Just hold on. Hope and help are coming your way. God has already prepared a way of escape for you, and He's trying to communicate it to you. Get quiet. Be still and listen as He communicates to you through His Word. He says, "Be still and know that I am God" (Psalms 46:10). Know that you are valuable to the God who made you. You have a precious anointing on you. "But the annointing you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you, but as the same annointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him" (I John 2:27).

Just hold on! God loves you, and so do I!

Favor With God

I heard a caller call in to a radio program today and say these words; "When you have favor with God, there's nothing no one can do to stop you." That reminds me of the scripture that says, "If God be for us, who can be against us" (Romans 8:31)?

When you're faced with a difficult decision, don't get discouraged when others don't agree with your decision. Just make sure God agrees with the decision you make and go on.

Be Flexible

Be flexible. That's the one thing that I'm taking from this day. I went to see my chiropractor today who's been working to help strengthen the muscle I pulled when I first started taking yoga. The office is a quite a distance from where I live. In fact, it's quite far. If I didn't enjoy the pleasant people in the office, I would have moved to a chiropractor closer to home a while ago. At any rate, I got there at about 1:00, the normal time I usually get there. I got out of my car and went to the door, and the door was locked. I couldn't believe what I had done. It was the second time I'd forgotten that they don't open until 2:00 on Thursdays. I was an hour early.

I didn't want to wait around for an hour so I decided to just go on home. I decided to take responsibility for forgetting, take the lesson that I needed to learn and go on with my day in spite of the precious gas I wasted.
