If something were to happen to you today, an accident, an illness, or even death, and it became necessary for someone else to come into your home to sort through and make sense of your things, to find all of your necessary legal or insurance documents, would they be able to do it without it being a major challenge?

Stop Trying and Start Doing
Do you find yourself constantly making statements like, "I'm trying to get to work on time." "I'm trying to get up earlier." "I'm trying to get my house cleaned up." "I'm trying to lose weight." "I'm trying to get back into my exercising routine." "I'm trying to find more time for myself."
What are you "trying" to do? Well, it's time to stop "trying" and start "doing." Following are a few steps to help you get started:
1. Slow down! Stop "trying" to do too many things at one time. Multi-tasking is overrated. Do one thing at a time and do it well.
2. Know why you want to do what you desire to do. Make sure your motives are pure. If you want to stop "trying" to lose weight and start losing weight, make sure your reasons for wanting to lose the pounds are healthy reasons.
3. Turn your focus from outward to inward and live from the inside out. Everthing you need for the journey to start "doing" is inside of you, not outside.

Overcoming Fear
Fear of failure is one of the most common types of fear, and depending on the depth of your fear, this could be an issue you deal with on a daily basis. If fear is holding you back, try the following:
1. Face your fears. If you're afraid of doing something, do it anyway as often as you can. You'll soon become comfortable doing it.
2. Talk to someone about your fears. Find someone you trust and share your fears. Sharing can be a form of releasing, and can help you cleanse out negative emotions and get to the root cause of your fears.
3. Get healthy and fit. Eating right and exercising keeps the body not only physically fit, but also mentally and emotionally fit.
I talk about fear in my upcoming new book; Becoming the Me I Was Meant to Be. Look for it to go on sale in the fall of 2010.

What Kind of Energy Are You Giving Off?
Are you giving off positive energy? If you're in a room with someone who is not so positive, do you have enough positive energy to bring the mood of the other person up? Or, will you allow the negative energy of the other person to bring you down? Whether you know it or not, you have total and full control over your energy. Negative thoughts can cause you to give off negative energy. When this happens, your thoughts will begin to manifest themselves in negative actions.
Be conscious of the energy you give off. Positive thoughts are a channel for positive energy. A clutter-free environment is a channel for positive energy. Doing good deeds is a channel for positive energy. Today, make sure the energy you give off is positive energy.

Thank You God For My Husband
If I had one wish, I would wish that I could find the words that would appropriately, sufficiently, and adequately express how great God is. I am at a loss for words when it comes to acknowledging His goodness. I can't even come close to describing His awesome, giving nature. Therefore, I will simply say Thank you God. Thank you God for all of the good and precious gifts you've given me; especially the gift of the love of my life, my husband. I can't thank you enough for this awesome man, whom I don't even deserve. He is so good to me and for me. He provides an environment for me where I can feel loved, comfortable, safe and and protected. He provides an environment for me where I can grow and become the person You want me to be. Lord, I thank you for this man and I pray that Your protection and Your love will always be the center of our marriage.

Tie a Knot and Hold On
On those days when you feel like you're at the end of your rope, just tie a knot and hold on. I don't know where, but I've heard that before, and you probably have too. These encouraging words are for you, and for a dear friend of mine who seems to think she's having difficulty getting in line with life. Lining up with life isn't always easy. It takes practice. It takes fasting and prayer and deep meditation to endure as you find that path God has created for you. I like to tell people, "This too shall pass." But I know that when the struggle has gone on for so long, and there doesn't seem to be an end to it, you'll find yourself asking, when will this pass?
Just hold on. Hope and help are coming your way. God has already prepared a way of escape for you, and He's trying to communicate it to you. Get quiet. Be still and listen as He communicates to you through His Word. He says, "Be still and know that I am God" (Psalms 46:10). Know that you are valuable to the God who made you. You have a precious anointing on you. "But the annointing you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you, but as the same annointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him" (I John 2:27).
Just hold on! God loves you, and so do I!

Favor With God
I heard a caller call in to a radio program today and say these words; "When you have favor with God, there's nothing no one can do to stop you." That reminds me of the scripture that says, "If God be for us, who can be against us" (Romans 8:31)?
When you're faced with a difficult decision, don't get discouraged when others don't agree with your decision. Just make sure God agrees with the decision you make and go on.
